一本是台灣人寫香港的文化面貌，
另一是香港人分析香港殖民地的底子。
把兩本書拼湊一起讀，
有一種奇特的感覺，
讀過以後，有點焦躁的感覺。

I guess your 躁的感覺 is more due to 龍應台 fiery content. Would you write a proper book review on it?
yes, you've got it. i got "scotched" after reading her book~ but i don't think i am good enough to write a review of her book lar.
龍應台的書的確帶出對香港不少敏銳的觀察，但看過後卻覺得有點空洞。而劉紹麟對香港殖民地的分析剛好填補這種"焦躁"，所以推介兩本書一起讀~
I have not read any book by 劉紹麟. Maybe after I have overcome my recent distaste of HK current affairs, I would pick one of his books and read it.
